My Learning Log
My name is Joanna Brown (everyone calls me Jo) I have just signed up to the BA (HONS) Photography course.
I would like to introduce myself to you and tell you a little bit about me, so here goes!!
In 2015 my long term partner passed away suddenly and my whole world fell apart, life has become very sad and solitary without him as he was a very funny, witty and intelligent man. This sudden and unexpected tragedy led me to pick up his camera, I cannot explain why but it has sparked a genuine passion for photography which has totally consumed me.
Visual communications surround us in an age digital technology therefore I felt this was the right time for seeking a new challenge, as a mature student I haven’t studied for years, however I feel and hope that I have the capacity and life experience to make this an enriching and rewarding experience.
